central spot for exploring venice's gems and canals
I stayed for 3 nights and loved the amazing place, well-situated near the hidden pearl of venice, palazzo grimani, a short stroll from both san marco and rialto bridges, making my weekend explorations good, while the hotel offers a generous breakfast and the comfort of a clean room with everything one may need.

The staff from start to finish were excellent and best. The location was incredible - just a walk down to everywhere we wanted to go. Everything was very good and within 20 minutes' drive of Marco Polo airport.

Recommend for short stay
Charming hotel, friendly staff, where the lovely atmosphere made our morning breakfasts good with homemade cakes and the location was perfectly convenient for exploring the area with easy access to frequent public transport links.
Nothing bad to say.

The location is pretty decent, but the stairs are just ridiculous. Going to a public bathroom felt more like a chore. I could've almost given a good review, but they didn't even offer me a room upgrade for all my inconveniences. So all in all, definitely not relaxing for a hotel stay.

Hotel was beautiful and the common room/breakfast room was very cosy. Free internet was a definite plus! Good location close to St. Marco's square. All staff excluding one person where very helpful.
The airconditioning did not work at the time.

We felt super welcomed by the amazing staff! The location couldn't be better, just a short walk to San Marco. The noise from other guests was a bit too much at times 😊

We were fortunate to get a reasonable rate. The room we got was a very spacious and clean one with its own bathroom which was great. The staff were very helpful. We enjoyed our stay
The entrance hall smelt very musky and unpleasant and there were many stairs to climb to get to our room, but it was worth the climb. When we got up to the reception area on the first floor the musky smell was no longer an issue. You could not get wireless internet in the room you had to sit in the reception area to connect, this was not the end of the world but when skyping family it would have been more pleasant to have been able to connect in the room. The little outside balcony off the reception area always had ashtrays that were full of cigarette buds and being a non smoker I feel this was something small that could have been attended to by the staff.

Great location: close to Rialto and Piazza San Marco. Also it is not difficult to get it. Room was very big, bright and clean. Helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast is quite simple but sufficient
In our room in WC pipes sometimes were leaking. Furniture is old, rooms are in need of renovation

Amazing views from our Standard Double Room. The hotel location was perfect, just next to Palazzo Grimani and a short stroll from San Marco. Decorations in the room were lovely, offering a quaint aesthetic. The staff stood out. They were eager to share local tips, we had the best time exploring. Breakfast featured delicious homemade cakes, made mornings good. The four flights of stairs to reach our room were quite a challenge, especially with luggage.

Hotel staff very pleasant and helpful. Rooms are quite spacious, clean and comfortable.
However, hotel is not of the same name as mentioned in the Booked.net. Because of this and lack of proper direction to the hotel, it took nearly 90 minutes for us to locate the hotel. Entrance is at backdoor with no signs. This needs to be seriously improved and information with the access map need to be properly provided on the website.

It was very beautiful and in a good location. The receptionist gave us a room upgrade for free since there was availability, so we have no complaints.
